Leslie Brooks Sidman

Leslie Brooks Sidman is vice president of marketing and operations with Akabis Inc. and president of Brooks Group Inc. A public relations and marketing executive with more than 15 years of proven, practical experience, Leslie’s work history includes ownership of Brooks Group Inc. and more than seven years as director of marketing and public relations for Crumley & Associates (now Crumley Roberts).

Throughout her work history Leslie has held senior management and strategic planning positions in for- and not-for-profit businesses, utilizing her public relations and marketing skills to create and implement successful public relations and marketing programs that result in business growth, increased revenue and brand amplification.

Leslie is an honors graduate of Guilford College with a BA in English and a communications concentration. She is active in industry organizations including the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and is a graduate of several leadership organizations including Leadership North Carolina.
